Vehicle lifts, installed and serviced properly.
S.T.A.K Installations & Servicing is an independent two-engineer business based in Northampton, covering England and Wales. We install, service and repair vehicle lifts for garages, lift suppliers, bodyshops and private workshops — without the call centres, the regional handoffs, or the manufacturer ties.
Five services. One engineer on the job.
The same person quotes the work, books it in and turns up to do it — whether that's a single home garage lift or a multi-bay workshop fit-out. Here are the three you'll most often ring us about.
Vehicle lift installation
Two-post, four-post, scissor and mobile column lifts installed to manufacturer specification and to BS 7980:2024. From a single private install to multi-bay workshop fit-outs.

Whoever you are, you get the same engineer, the same written quote, and the same standard of work. Most of the bigger national companies don't bother with private installs. We do.
Lift suppliers & dealers
Selling lifts but no installation engineer on the books? We're the install and servicing capacity you can sub-contract to without losing your customer. White-label, branded, or transparent — your call. We don't sell lifts ourselves, so there's no conflict of interest.

Independent garages & bodyshops
One-bay MOT, busy bodyshop, fleet workshop, MOT-class IV centre — we'll install new equipment, service what you've already got, or fix what's stopped working. Annual servicing contracts available so the next LOLER doesn't catch you out.

Home garages & private workshops
Home mechanic, collector, vehicle storage operator, or running a private workshop? We install 2-post and 4-post lifts in residential and private settings — properly anchored, properly tested, properly signed off. We're small enough to take the job on.
Private · HomeRight-sized for real workshops.
We're not trying to compete with companies running fifty engineers and a regional depot network. We do something different — and four things make the difference.
Direct contact, every time.
You speak to the engineer who'll be doing the work. No call centre, no service controller in between, no being passed around departments to get a sensible quote.
Independent of any manufacturer.
We're not authorised agents for anyone. That means we don't push a particular brand. We service whatever you already own and recommend what fits the job, not what's on the price list.
Honest, written pricing.
Quotes are scoped and broken down. Travel is built in up front, not added at the bottom of the invoice. If a job turns out simpler than expected, the price comes down — not the other way round.
Lower overheads, sharper price.
A two-engineer business has lower overheads than a national one — and that shows up in the price. We're also small enough to quote a single home install without rolling our eyes.
The engineer who quotes the job is the engineer who does the job.— Our entire business model, in one line.
Based in Northampton. Working across England & Wales.
We're set up to travel. Most of England and the whole of Wales is comfortably within reach for installs and contracted servicing. Travel costs are built into the written quote — no fuel surcharge tacked on at the end.
For trade customers running multiple sites, travel can be folded into a fixed-price annual maintenance contract so you know exactly what each visit costs.
Send us the make, model and postcode. We'll quote it.
Written quotes back within one working day. No call centres. No high-pressure sales call afterwards.
